Rachel Hannaford: Rachel’s introduction to food began at the age of fourteen in the family restaurant (Adelaide’s critically acclaimed Jolley’s Boathouse). Combining stunning international dishes with an Australian feel, Rachel prefers using organic and local produce to design healthy, mouth-watering dishes, and has been privileged to serve such celebrated public figures as the Dalai Lama and Mick Jagger. Her interest in yoga has also led her to graduate as an instructor of the Baron Baptiste Powerflow Vinyasa style.

Nick Hannaford: Started Hannaford's Events (www.hannafords.com.au) over 18 years ago when he pioneered dining in the Daintree rainforest. Corporate and incentive events were created throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific in stunning locations ranging from rivers to sandy quays. He was also a fouder of the iconic, award-winning Flames of the Forest dining experience in Port Douglas, Queensland (www.flamesoftheforest.com.au).

Jessica Firouz-Abadi: A newcomer to Kangaroo Island, Jessica has jointly established five businesses revolving around coffee, good food and conversation; Espressohead and the Lychee Lounge in Brisbane, Espressohead in Byron Bay and Leroy and Las Chicas in Melbourne. After falling in love with LifeTime Private Retreats in May of 2005, Jessica sold up and moved over, and is loving the change of pace and the challenges such a beautiful, remote and unique business has to offer.
